Introduction

Better than take-out fried rice. Better than take-out fried rice.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    4 Tbsp Sesame Oil
    1 Medium White Onion, chopped
    4 Cloves Garlic, minced
    1 cup Carrots. chopped
    1 cup Frozen Peas
    3 Eggs
    6 cups White Rice, cooked
    12 oz Shrimp, cooked, deveined, tails removed
    6 Tbsp Soy Sauce, Low Sodium

Tips

You can substitute cooked chicken, cut in bite size pieces, for the shrimp.


Directions

Heat sesame oil in wok or large skillet. Add onion, garlic, carrots and peas cook until vegetables are tender.

Push vegetables aside and scramble eggs in the center of the pan. Stir eggs into vegetables.

Add rice and shrimp, cook until heated through. Add soy sauce and remove from the heat and serve.


Serving Size: Makes 10 1-cup servings
