Ingredients

    1 pound ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    6 carrots
    8 stalks of celery
    1 can organic fire roasted tomatoes
    1/2 cup kidney beans (dry)
    1/2 cup white beans (dry)
    5 beef bullion cubes
    italian seasoning
    pepper
    1 can organic tomato paste
    6 ounces pearl barley (about 170 grams)
    Water

Directions

brown meat and put in crockpot with the other ingredients, except for the barley. Set the crockpot on high, and cook for 5 hours. Put the barley in about 1 hour before the soup is done.

Serving Size: makes 20 bowls of soup
