Ingredients

    3 bags microwave popcorn, popped
    2 full sticks butter/margarine
    2 C. brown sugar
    1/2 C. white corn syrup (don't overdo it!)
    1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

Pour popped popcorn into a disposable roasting pan and set aside.

Combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a LARGE saucepan. Boil 5 minutes.

Add baking soda to saucepan and stir.

Pour sauce over popped popcorn and stir to coat.

Place in 250 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 10.5 servings of 1 cup portions
