Introduction

These burgers aren't skimpy in size or taste! The best part is having 3g of fiber in each one. If the 6g of fat won't fit in your diet plan, just leave out the bacon bits and bring it down to 4.5g. Ingredients

    1. Laura's Lean Ground Beef, one pound package
    2. Birds Eye Recipe Ready Sofrito (minced tomato, onion and garlic), 3/4 cup
    3. Oscar Mayer Selects Real Uncured Bacon Bits (or whichever variety you prefer around 25 calories/tbsp), 4 tbsp
    4. Equate Sugar Free Fiber Powder (or your favorite Benefiber(R) type-brand), 4 servings
    5. Spice World Premium Minced Squeeze Garlic (or your favorite brand), 1 tsp

Tips

I like to garnish mine with fresh tomato and avocado and some light Sour Cream, but it's also great on a bun with your favorite condiments. I recommend the various Arnold Product(R) brands Multigrain Thins.


Directions

1. Defrost 3/4 cup of the Birds Eye Recipe Ready Sofrito. Drain any extra water.
2. Combine all the ingredients in bowl.
3. Turn on the George Foreman(R) Grill.
4. Divide into four patties.
5. Grill to desired doneness.

Serving Size: makes 4 patties (5-6 oz. pre-cooked weight, 4 oz. cooked)
