Ingredients

1/3c brown sugar unpacked
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2/3c sugar
1/2c butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 1/2tsp vanilla
1 1/2c flour
1/2c milk
1 3/4tsp baking powder
1 apple peeled and chopped
Tips
cooking could be from 30-40 minutes...check after 30 with toothpick
Directions
Oven 350
Use 9x5 loaf pan (greased)
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon (set aside)
combine white sugar and butter together and beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla.
Combine flour and baking powder together in another bowl
stir into creamed butter mixture.
Mix milk into batter until smooth. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Add 1/2 of the apples and half of the brown sugar cinnamon mixture. Lightly pat apple mixture into batter.
Pour remaining batter over apple layer, top with remaining apples and then cinnamon mixture.
Lightly pat apples into batter, swirl brown sugar mixture through apples using a finger or spoon.
Serving Size: Make 12 slices (depending how thick you cut it)
