Ingredients

    1-2 lbs. grassfed ground beef or venison
    2-3 med. to large yukon gold potatoes, diced
    1 c. diced or sliced raw carrots
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced onion
    1 large can diced tomatoes
    4 oz. wild rice
    1/2 med. head of cabbage, chopped
    1 1/2 qt. water
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Brown ground beef/venison, drain if necessary. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, cabbage, and tomatoes and mix well. Add in enough water to cover vegetables and add in wild rice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until vegetables are tender - 1 to 2 hours, or place in crockpot for 6-8 hours on low.
