Ingredients

    12 cups chicken broth
    6 cups water
    1 large onion, diced
    32 oz (2lb) leftover baked ham, cubed
    1 pkg Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
    4 large carrots, diced
    2 16-oz bags fresh turnip greens
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp creole or cajun seasoning (optional)
    2 tsp hot sauce (optional)




Directions

In large stock pot, add chicken broth, water, onion, ham, seasonings, and vegetable soup mix. Bring to a boil; lower heat to medium and cook for 1 hour. Add carrots, cook for 3 hours more. Add turnip greens (roughly chopped) about 30 minutes before serving.
