Introduction
I tasted this recipe first at a Whole Foods Market and I totally fell in love with it and decided to try and recreate it at home. It came out so well and I make it all the time! Ingredients
-
- 2 small cans of White Albacore Tuna in Water
- 1/3 cup Dried Sweetened Cranberries
- 2/3 cup chopped Fuji Apples
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp. minced fresh Dill
- 1/2 cup Canola Mayonnaise
Directions
In a medium size mixing bowl, add your chopped apples and mix with lemon juice so they don't brown. Then add cranberries and dill.
Next, drain your tuna and put into a small bowl. Mash up with a fork so it is easier to mix with apples and cranberries without mashing them. Then add to your fruit mix. Finally, add the mayonnaise and mix gently with a spoon.
Then it's ready to eat! It does taste better after it sits for a little while.
This salad is great in a wrap or on it's own.
