Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups skim milk
    1 Knox gelatin envelope
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    5 large eggs
    6-8 splenda packets

Tips

I enjoy this in the morning in place of eggs and tastes great as a dessert.

Directions

Turn oven on to 300 degrees to warm up.
Place milk and gelatin in a sauce pot and set for about 2-3 minutes. Whisk to mix gelatin into the skim milk. Place milk on the stove on a medium-low setting until bubbles begin to form around the edge of the pot. You want to warm the milk, not boil or simmer it.
While the milk is warming break the 5 eggs into a bowl and whisk to combine. Add in the desired amount of Splenda packets and mix lightly.
Once the milk is warmed drizzle in a small amount into the egg mixture while mixing to keep the eggs liquid. Gently stream the milk into the eggs while whisking to mix. Once all the milk is mixed in you can pour the mixture into custard cups or a single glass dish. Place the container(s) into a large baking pan and pour boiling water around the custard dishes or glass dish until the water is about 3/4 up the side of the custard and place in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes to set up. When the time is up remove the dish from the oven and allow the custard to cool in the water bath for 30 minutes before removing. Then you may place the custard in the refrigerator to chill for about 2 hours before eatting.
