Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup yellow cornmeal
    1 Tbsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 can Creamed Corn (mind held a little under 1.5 cups)
    1 cup Almond Milk
    1 Tbsp. Raw Sugar


Tips

Keep an eye on it after the 20 minute mark, depending on the size of your pan, it may cook faster. Also, normal granulated sugar would work fine here.


Directions

Stir dry ingredients together. Add creamed corn and almond milk. Mix until incorporated, and then add 1 Tbsp of sugar. The sugar is optional, but I like my cornbread a little on the sweeter side. Pour into parchment lined baking dish, I used a loaf pan, and bake in a pre-heated oven at 400 F for 30 min. or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
