Ingredients

    Jalapeno Peppers, 36.85 grams (1.3oz) diced
    Sweet peppers (bell), 1 cup, diced
    Chopped Yellow Onion, 26.3 oz (about 1 large)
    Ground beef, lean, 1.83 lbs
    Beef cubes (for stew), 1.7lbs
    Beans, red kidney, 2 (15 oz) cans
    Canned Tomatoes, 1 (28oz) can
    Chili Beans, 3 (15.5 oz) cans
    Vegetable Oil, 3 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Tomato Paste, 12 oz
    Carrol Shelby's Chili Kit, 2 boxes

Tips

Great served with sour cream and cheddar cheese.


Directions

cook all the veggies in the oils, set aside. IN pan, brown ground beef and beef chunks. drain fat.
add 2 cans drained kidney beans, 1 can drained chili beans, 2 cans chili beans (with liquid), tomato paste diced tomatoes, salt, and chili kit seasonings.. Set pot to medium-low, stir all ingredients together, and let simmer. Let simmer, with lid, stirring to keep the chili from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
