Ingredients

    Butter, salted, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Onion, fresh (medium), 100 gram(s) (remove)
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, large (11"-12" long) (remove)
    Garlic, 2 clove (remove)
    Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Kitchen Basic Vegetable Stock, 4 cup (remove)
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Broccoli, fresh, 8 cup, chopped or diced (remove)
    Milk, nonfat (skim milk), 0.5 cup (remove)
    Kraft Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup (remove)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper (remove)
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *crushed red pepper, 1 serving (remove)

Directions

- Add butter in pot
- Chop onion, celery, jalapeņo and add into pot
- Add garlic and parsley
- Saute until all tender
- Add chopped broccoli and stir
- Add vegetable broth and water
- Let it come to a boil and then simmer on low heat for 25 minutes
- Blend it all together until smooth
- Add skim milk, cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper and mix well.

Serving Size: makes 8 - 1 cup servings
