Introduction

Lightly seasoned beef steaks with Lots of filling veggies. Revamped an old recipe with very good results.
Had this for Dinner tonight and we loved it. Served it with 1/2 cup corn that we had put in the freezer last summer. Yummy! We both loved it.

Ingredients

    8 ounces Ground Chuck
    1/8 tsp. Thyme
    1 tsp. Parsley
    1 can Green beans - rinse and drain.
    8 ounces Fresh Mushrooms - sliced
    5 Green Onions - sliced (or 1/2 cup onion rings)
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt
    1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
    Cooking Spray

Directions

Mix Garlic Salt, Onion Powder and 1/8 tsp. black pepper with ground chuck. Mix well and make steaks 1" thick. Season with salt & Pepper on both sides. In nonstick skillet, brown patties on both sides over medium high heat. Remove from skillet.
Spray same skillet with cooking spray. Brown mushrooms over high heat. Add onions and brown.
Add green beans. Stir in Thyme and Parsley. Return beef steaks to skillet. Heat until green beans are hot and steak desired doneness. Remove from heat. Salt & Pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Serving Size: Serving size: 1 beef steak with 1/2 of the veggies. Makes large servings of the veggies!
