Ingredients
-
1kg ground beef
1 large egg
1 packed cup of Kraft reduced fat shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Dried onion flakes
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Tips
1. Can be made without the cheese, which reduces the calorie count significantly. However, I like the rich flavor that the cheese adds.
2. Freeze really well after cooking. Once cooled down, I place mine into small ziplock baggies to carry around as high protein snacks.
Directions
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with your hands.
2. Roll into table-spoon sized balls, weighing approximately 25g each when raw.
3. Place on a cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 220 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes until cooked through. Then turn grill to hot and grill for 5 minutes until brown.
Serving Size: Makes 50 X 25g mini-meatballs.
