Introduction

A great meal for St. Patrick's Day or any other special day. A great meal for St. Patrick's Day or any other special day.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Corned beef brisket with spice packet (about 2.5 lbs)
    5 Medium potatoes, quartered
    1 lb Baby Carrots
    1 Medium Onion cut into wedges (use toothpicks to hold together)
    3 Cloves garlic, minced
    1 Medium head cabbage cut into wedges
    12 oz Beer
    2 Bay Leaves
    2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
    3 cups Water

Directions

Place the onion, potatoes, and carrots in a 5 qt slow cooker.
Combine water, beer, garlic, bay leaves, vinegar and spice packet. Pour over the vegetables.
Place the brisket and cabbage on top.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Remove bay leaves.
