Introduction

This tasty treat is made with whole wheat flour and substitudes applesauce for oil and Splenda(R) for sugar. This tasty treat is made with whole wheat flour and substitudes applesauce for oil and Splenda(R) for sugar.

Ingredients

    4 Bananas -- ripe
    1 Cup Splenda
    1/2 Cup Applesauce
    1 t. Vanilla Extract
    2 Eggs
    1 t. Baking Soda
    2 t. Baking Powder
    1 t. Salt
    ½ c. White Flour
    1 ½ c. Whole Wheat Flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 F and spray a 9x5" pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Place bananas in a large bowl and mash. Stir in Splenda and let stand together for 15 minutes. Add applesauce and eggs and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix.

Pour into pan and bake for 70 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes before removing from pan. Cool on wire rack.
