  Skipped the pomegranate and used olive oil with a bit of balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Used heirloom tomatoes and are much better than standard tomatoes. - 1/25/15

  I am not a salad person yet, but this was pleasing to the eye. Lots of color and not bad on taste either. I'm more of a soup person. A few more salads like this and that could change too. - 7/12/14

  Thanks for sharing this recipe, it's so healthy and filling! Adding avocado to a Caprese Salad was an awesome idea as I've been trying to increase alkaline food intake. Also, I don't need the added sugars in balsamic but this still tastes great without it. This is now one of my favorite salads. - 11/3/19
