Ingredients

    4 cups milk
    1/2 c granulated sugar
    1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
    2 whole cinnamon sticks
    1-2 tsp ground cinnamon plus extra for finish
    pinch ground cloves
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 c Fine enriched yellow corn meal (Goya)

Tips

Sweeten to taste you may need more granulated sugar and more sweetened condensed milk.
Always eat from a plate, spread desired amount on plate sprinkle with cinnamon, let cool slightly then eat in a circular manner around the outer edges.


Directions

1- Heat milk in a small - medium sauce pan, add cinnamon sticks.
2- Once milk is warm add vanilla, granulated sugar and condensed milk tasting along the way for desired sweetness.
3- Slowly whisk in corn meal making sure it doesn't clump, add in ground cinnamon and cloves.
4- Cook until desired thickness. Remove & discard cinnamon sticks.
5- Serve on plate sprinkled with extra ground cinnamon
