Ingredients

    2 pounds round steak
    1 1/2 cups beef broth
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/2 pound mushrooms
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 cup natural sour cream

Tips

I prefer baby bellas for my mushrooms, and I typically remove the stems from the heads, half the stems, then quarter the heads before adding them into the pot. You can also add butter and onions if you're looking for extra fat or carbs from the meal.


Directions

Slice beef into 1/4" pieces.
Place in pot with beef broth, salt, pepper, and garlic.
Simmer until tender, about an hour and a half to two hours.
Add mushrooms and cook until it thickens up a bit.
Remove from heat; add sour cream.
