Ingredients

    Lean Ground Turkey, 20 oz (I used Jennie-O w/ Italian Seasonings
    Ground Beef 93% Lean, 20 oz (about 1.4 lbs)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic 4 cloves - crushed and finely chopped
    Green Bell Pepper, 1 pepper - diced - approximately 1 cup
    Celery, raw, 3 stalks diced - approximately 1 cup
    Hunt's 100% Natural Tomato Paste-6 oz can
    Tomato Sauce, Hunts Sauce, 15 oz can approximately 2 cups
    Canned Tomatoes, 2 cans approximately 4 cups
    Italian Seasonings to taste
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Tips

Great served with whole wheat pasta.


Directions

Brown ground meats.
Add onion and garlic and saute. (Depending on how lean the meat is, you may need to add 1 Tbsp of olive oil)
Add celery and green peppers and saute.
Add tomatoes, sauce, and paste.
Season with your choice of Italian seasonings.
Simmer.
