Introduction

Give that plain ol' tuna fish some flare! Give that plain ol' tuna fish some flare!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 leaves of iceberg lettuce
    1 6oz can tuna in water, drained
    1 medium stalk celery, chopped
    1 tbsp chopped red onion
    1/2 tomato, chopped
    1 large mushroom, chopped
    1/4 cucumber, chopped
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp dried dill
    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
    1 tbsp mayonnaise
    1 tbsp dijon mustard
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 fresh lemon

Directions

Set lettuce leaves aside. Drain the water from the tuna. In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, garlic powder, dried dill, and the juice from 1/2 lemon. Mix thoroughly.

Finely chop all vegetables/parsley (except lettuce), and stir well into the tuna mixture. Once mixed, wrap 1/8 of the mixture in each of the lettuce leaves.

1 serving = 2 wraps. Recipe serves 4.

    Pretty good! It's not knock-me-down delicious, but it's tasty. :) Next time I make it I'll use a little less lemon and a little more dijon. - 3/28/07
