Ingredients

1/2 Cup flower
1 Cup sugar
1 cup chilled applesauce
2 Cups flour
1 Tbs Vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 Tbl Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Ginger
20 toasted pecans
you can add orange Zest (peal) or Vanilla bean for a variant in the flavor
Tips
Add a little extra vanilla bean and Orange peal for a little zest or if you want a little more apple add diced or shredded apples. you can also make mini cup cakes to control the calorie intake but reduce the cooking time.
Directions
Cream butter or margarine with sugar and vanilla. Add applesauce; beat well. put dry ingredients together flour, soda, and spices Stir into creamed wet ingredients. Add nuts and any other additions.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until done. Serve warm.
