Introduction

Easy to fix and taste just as good as any baked in a regular oven. Easy to fix and taste just as good as any baked in a regular oven.
Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

2 15 ounce cans Van Camps Pork and Beans, drained
    6 T. catsup
6 T. (or 1/3 C.) brown sugar, packed (dark or light)
2 T. Kroger Real Turkey Bacon Pieces (found in salad dressing section)

Tips

Recipe can be increased or made smaller. Just use 3 T. each brown sugar and catsup, and 1 T. turkey bacon pieces for every can. Also, microwave 5 minutes per can. Real bacon pieces can be used, but calorie and nutrition information will be different. Also, if taking to a picnic or potluck where rewarming may be needed, decrease cooking time to avoid overcooking. Mixture should be somewhat thickened. If not, add more cooking time.

Directions

Drain liquid off of beans; put in microwave-safe casserole dish (i.e. Corning Ware dish). Add catsup, brown sugar, and turkey bacon pieces. Mix well, and microwave 10 minutes, stirring halfway between time (after 5 minutes).
