Ingredients

    Half a head of green cabbage (you can mix it up with red and green, you need 4 cups of cabbage)
    1 large apple diced
    1/2 cup shredded carrots (more or less to taste)
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    3 tbsp cider vinegar
    1 tbsp sugar
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1 tsp celery seed
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

I like to mix the dressing in a small jar, it seems to mix better. the original recipe calls for 3 cups of cabbage but I like it very lightly dressed so I added more the next time I made it.


Directions

Shred cabbage and carrot finely, dice apple. Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl and pour over cabbage. Mix well and serve cold.

Serving Size: this makes about 10 1/2 cup servings
