Ingredients

1 lb of lean, boneless pork chops
1 envelope of brown gravy mix
1 cup Cranberry Juice (Cran-Apple or Cran-Grape are good also)
1 cup Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a casserole dish, whisk together cranberry juice and brown gravy mix until well blended with no lumps.

Stab holes in the pork shops with a fork, and arrange them in mixture.

Pour the cranberry sauce on top of each of the pork chops.

Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until pork is done but still tender. Thicker cut chops or ones with the bone in may take longer to cook.

    O.K.
the gravy mix gives it a processed taste-dont like packaged gravy, but I understand the need for thickening. Any Ideas how to get around it? Otherwise good...pork chops a little over done. - 12/3/08

I tried them, they smelt good, but I think I messed something up, because they were very bland. How big of a dish was I supposed to use - should the chops be side by side or can they be stacked? Also, the cranberry you put on top, is that the kind you slice and serve? - 8/12/08

It was definitely not done after 25 minutes, so I pulled it out of the oven and put it in a frying pan, pouring the sauce over it. EXCELLENT! Instead of cranberry sauce next time, I will cook down some whole fresh cranberries and use them. I was surprised at how good this was! - 4/1/08
