This cake is absolutely delicious and so moist it doesn't need icing or any other topping.** I replaced oil with applesauce, and only use egg white.

Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    2 Cup Sugar (White Granulated)
    1 ¾ cup All-purpose Flour
    ¼ Cup Chocolate Cocoa Powder
    1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
    1 ½ tsp Baking Soda,
    4 Egg Whites
    1 cup Milk - Skim
    ½ cup Applesauce Unsweetened, 1/2 cup
    2 tsp Vanilla extract
    1 cup Boiling Water
    Pam Cooking Spray* - Butter Flavor, 5 second spray




Tips

Do not attempt to use a beater...the liquid will go everywhere.
Let cool completely before cutting.


Directions

Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

1. Mix all the dry ingredients.

2. Add the wet ingredients and mix with a large fork or spoon with holes. 250 strokes (the batter is liquid; an electric beater will make a mess).

3. Spray an oval pan with a nonstick spray.

4. Bake for 35 minutes.

Cool
Cut 12 even pieces
