Ingredients

15oz can chickpeas/garbanzo beans
1 medium red bell pepper, roasted
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
2 tsp sesame oil
5 packets True Lemon crystallized lemon (or to taste)
.5 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)
.5 tsp salt (or to taste)
Tips
Depending on processor power and time processed, sesame seeds and oil may not have to be pre-buttered. Tahini could also be substituted, but look for a toasted variety and watch for extra salt.
Directions
In a small bender or food processor, process sesame seeds and oil until a nut-butter consistency.
Add sesame butter to chickpeas and red pepper in a food processor. Process until desired consistency. Blend in True Lemon, garlic powder, and salt to taste. (Adjust sesame seeds and oil on subsequent batches if flavor is too strong, but calories are calc'd on these amounts.)
Serving Size: Makes 12 2-tbsp servings (approx 1.5c)
