Ingredients

    1/2 lb. ground turkey (93% lean)
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 can Dark Red Kidney Beans (low sodium)
    1 can Bushs Great Northern Beans - reduced sodium
    1 can Bushs Black Beans - reduced sodium
    2 cans Del Monte diced tomatoes - no salt added
    1.5 tbsp. Chile powder
    1 tsp ground cumin

Tips

Chile is forgiving. Adapt choice of beans and spices as you choose. Add salt as needed.


Directions

Brown ground turkey over medium heat, adding the onion, green pepper and garlic. Brown all over medium heat about ten minutes. Add both cans of tomatoes and juice. Drain and rinse the cans of beans. Bring all to simmer. Add spices and simmer 25 minutes.
