Introduction

Had to use up some bell peppers! Had to use up some bell peppers!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1T +1t olive oil
    2 small onions (1 large)
    2 colored bell peppers (not green)
    3 garlic cloves

    1 lb ground round

    3 (14 oz) cans Italian diced tomatoes
    1 small can tomato paste
    3.5 oz red wine

    Basil to taste.

    Water

Tips

Divide into 10 portions - you can use this over pasta, rice, etc.


Directions

Brown veggies in oil in deep pot.
Brown meat in microwave/colander & drain well
Add tomatoes w juice to veggies.
Mix wine with tomato paste & add water to make thinner.
Add wine mix to veggies.
Crumble meat & add to pot.
Add enough water so that it can simmer about an hour.
