    Can of Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
    Half of a White Onion, chopped
    3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
    2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
    2/3 cup of Skim Milk
    1 cup Water
    Salt, Pepper and Basil to Taste
    Optional: Freshly Grated Parmesan for Garnish


1. Sauté the onion and garlic in butter at medium heat.
2. Add tomato, seasoning, and water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes with constant stirring.
3. Add milk.
4. Remove from heat and blend.
5. Return to a low heat until warm.
6. Serve with parmesan cheese on top.
