Ingredients

1/4 cup canola or soya oil
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 large egg
1/4 cup Splenda brown sugar substitute
1/2 cup regular Splenda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oat (or wheat) bran
3 T. flaxseed (optional)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup dried cranberries (or raisins)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (or almonds)
1 cup Quick oats (rolled oats)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix the oil, sugar substitutes, egg , applesauce and vanilla together well.
Add the flour, oat or wheat bran, flaxseed and baking soda. Mix well.
Stir in rolled oats, and dried fruit and nuts..
Drop in generous tablespoons onto parchment -lined cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
