Introduction

Ingredients

    Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste, Garlic, EVOO, Salt, Pepper, Basil, Oregano, Sugar, Ground meat, Bread crumbs, Egg

Directions

Heat the Olive Oil and Garlic(I chop mine) in a pot. Then add Tomato Sauce, let simmer and add basil, oregano,sugar,salt,pepper, and 1 bay leaf. Then add Tomato Paste and water, let simmer. Pre-heat oven to 350, cover baking sheet with tin foil and spray with olive oil spray. Take ground meat(I use ground beef) and mix with bread crumbs and egg. I try and make 32 meatballs. I place them on prepared baking sheet and bake about 15 minutes. Then add to sauce. Simmer as long as you can, then serve. We're a family of 2 so I let it cool and portion it out 4 meatballs to 1 cup of sauce and freeze. That's a 1/2 cup of sauce and 2 meatballs each. I believe that's about 178 calories. Makes about 8 cups and 32 meatballs.
