Ingredients
-
1 lb.96 % or more lean ground beef
1/4 of a medium onion
1/4 cup colby-jack 2% cheese
2 packaged fat-free crescent rolls
1 bag shredded cabbage
salt to taste
pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
Tips
If the top is browned but the bottom isn't, cover the top with foil or a lid and continue cooking.
Directions
Spray medium fry pan with cooking spray, add onion and cook until translucent. Add hamburger and cook until almost browned, add cabbage. Cook all for about 15 minutes together, salt/pepper/garlic powder to taste. If you want to add the cheese now, do so, otherwise wait until before cooking.
Use a small square brownie pan (or any small square cooking vessel) and spray the bottom and sides with cooking spray. Line the bottom with one can of crescent rolls and press to flatten. Spoon hamburger mixture and level out. Add cheese if it wasn't added before. Cover with second can of rolls. Bake uncovered for 11-18 minutes watching that both the top doesn't brown too much and the bottom gets browned enough. When crescents are browned, remove and let stand for 5 minutes. Cut into 9 yummy pieces.
