Introduction

So filling and yummy, almost tastes like Christmas, but healthy enough to eat on a regular basis. So filling and yummy, almost tastes like Christmas, but healthy enough to eat on a regular basis.

Ingredients

    1.25 cup dry oats
    .75 cup flour
    .33 cup maple syrup
    1 tsp baking powder
    cinnamon to taste
    ginger to taste
    .5 tsp salt
    .5 cup half and half
    .5 cup water
    1 mashed banana
    2Tblsp Almond butter (optional)
1 cup fruit of choice (I used Gala apple peeled and thickly chunked)

Tips

Play with ingredients, for lower cal try all water instead of milk, try regular sugar instead of maple syrup for lower cal as well.

Directions

preheat oven to 375 Degrees. Mix all except apple, then pour into greased 8X8 pan. Arrange or throw in apples evenly in dish and bake for 40 mins. Allow to cool for 10 or dig right in (allowing to cool makes it come out like cake instead of oatmeal)
