Introduction
From the Nourishing Home From the Nourishing HomeNumber of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1/2 cup plain homemade yogurt (or cultured buttermilk)
1/4 cup homemade mayo
1/4 tsp, plus 1/8 tsp Celtic sea salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp dried parsley
1/8 tsp fresh-ground black pepper
1 pinch dried dill weed
1 pinch dried thyme
*Optional: 1/2 tsp arrowroot powder
Tips
*Arrowroot powder is an herb used to thicken foods. It is a healthier option (more easily digested) than cornstarch. However, if you're following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, you may wish to omit this ingredient since it's merely used as a thickening agent.
Directions
Place all ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together until well blended.
Place in small mason jar and refrigerate for several hours ( or even better, overnight) to allow flavors to meld together.
Keep refrigerated; use within seven days. (It's so yummy, that won't be hard to do!)
Serving Size: Makes roughly 1 cup of dressing
