Introduction

This almost one pot dish I made from stuff I had in my cabinets and freezer. I had no idea what was happening on the way in, but it sure was delicious. I was craving Turkey Tetrazzini and this hit the spot. Please note, these measurements are approximate as I was just throwing stuff into a pot to see what would happen. Ingredients

Turkey (dark meat), 1 cup, chopped or diced (remove)
Turkey (light meat), 1 cup, chopped or diced (remove)
    * Barilla Whole Wheat Penne Pasta, 4 serving (remove)
    Peas, frozen, 2 cup (remove)
    Butter, unsalted, .5 cup (remove)
    *Flour, white, .5 cup (remove)
    Milk, 1%, 1 cup (remove)
Chicken Broth, 1 can (10.75 oz) (remove)
Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Tips

In hindsight, I would have reduced the amount of rue that I used. Maybe by as much as half.

Directions

Boil water and chicken broth. If frozen add the turkey pieces. Once the turkey is thawed, pour in the pasta and cook for 7 minutes until pasta is al dente.
Meanwhile, melt the butter and whisk in the flour to make a thick rue. Once the pasta is cooked, add the peas (and turkey if it isn't in there already.) stir in the rue. Stir in the milk to the consistency desired.
