Ingredients

    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup cocoa
    1 Tbsp. coconut oil
    vanilla or other extract for taste

    4 cups oats
    1/2 cup unsweetened desiccated coconut
    1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (optional)
    1/4 cup chopped raw almonds (optional)
    1/4 cup ground flax seeds (optional)
    1/4 cup chia seeds (optional)
    1/2 cup organic chocolate chips (optional)

Tips

For bars you could melt chocolate and coat one or more sides and dip in ground/chopped almonds or seeds rather than adding to the recipe.

Serve cereal with fresh berries or sliced bananas for an even tatier treat


Directions

Add water maple syrup coconut oil and cocoa to pot, boil for a couple minutes and add to dry ingredients. Shape into bars or crumble into cereal and dry in oven at 250 degrees Celsius for two hours on parchment paper. Cool and add chocolate chips or melt and drizzle.
