Ingredients

    1 Whole Chicken - 3 to 4 pounds
    1 large jar of favorite salsa

Tips

I've done this with just boneless skinless chicken breasts and it works great. Also works great with frozen chicken, just have to cook longer.


Directions

Lay out washed chicken in bottom of slow cooker. Pour salsa over chicken, making sure to cover completely. Put on cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Take out skin and bones and shred chicken.

Serve with refried beans, tortilla's or however you want. Goes great over rice or potatoes.
