Ingredients

    2 frozen regular pie crusts
    3 tablespoons butter
    3 tablespoons flour
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup milk
    4 oz (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese
    2 cups cooked and diced chicken
    1 (10=oz) pkg. frozen chopped brocolli, thawed, drained well

Directions

1. Heat oven to 425F. Place cookie sheet in oven to preheat. In medium saucepan, combine butter, flour, and pepper. Cook over low heat until mixture becomes thick and bubbly. Gradually stir in broth and milk and stir until mixture begins to thicken; add cheese and stir until melted. Stir in chicken and broccoli. Pour mixture into pie shell.
2. Remove second crust from pie pan and CENTER frozen crust UPRIGHT on top of filled pie. Let thaw 10 to 20 mintues and crimp edges together. Cut 2 to 3 slits in top crust. Place pie on preheated cookie sheet. Bake for 30 to 35 mintues or until crust is brown and filling is bubbly.

    I used refrigerated pie crust for the top, and used turkey instead of chicken. It came out delish! - 11/4/16
