Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

1 8 oz container of original cool whip
1 3 ox package of strawberry gelatin
1/3 container (8 oz) of daisy regular sour cream

*optional fresh or frozen chopped or sliced strawberries- they are NOT added into nutrition info for this recipe

you can use sugar free gelatin, and lite, low fat, or any variation of sour cream or cool whip as you choose but it will change the nutrition and it will slightly alter the taste

Tips

You can triple this recipe to make a family size batch by using 3 containers of cool whip, 3 boxes gelatin, and one 8 oz container sour cream. Strawberries added are always to taste. Fresh, frozen whole (chop them while frozen is easiest) or frozen in liquid and then drained well all work fine, but be sure that they are all given time to drain off thoroughly before folding in or your fluff will deflate. You can also use pistachio gelatin and mix in pistachio nuts, mixed fruit gelatin and drain a can of mix friut and pat dry the fruit with paper towels and then add a sliced banana... the possibilities are endless with this recipe and jello/fruit combos.

Directions

blend or stir vigorously the gelatin powder and sour cream until well mixed, then fold in THAWED cool whip until mixed and no longer streaked, but do not over mix. If adding strawberries, fold in just before well mixed. Chill for about an hour before serving or longer to give time for the gelatin to dissolve, but you can serve immediately.
