Ingredients

    12 Eggs
    2 cups Sugar
    1/2 cup Butter
    1/2 cup Olive Oil
    1 Tblsp Anise Seed
    1/4 tsp Anise Extract
    4 cups Flour, sifted

Tips

Should make about 10 dozen pizzelles.

Can sprinkle with confectioner's sugar, but be sure to add the calories.


Directions

1. Beat eggs until foamy.
2. Add sugar, oil, and butter and mix well.
3. Add anise seed & extract.
4. Mix in flour, 1 cup at a time.
5. Put a tablespoon of batter on heated pizzelle iron and lightly brown.
6. Cool on table or rack.
