Introduction

Sometimes I use Ham & Shroom with Swiss
Sometimes I use Bacon & Onion with Cheddar.
Sometimes I use Sausage & Onion & Shroom with whatever is in the fridge.
You can also use slices of bread if you do not have croissants or refrigerated dough on hand! I think I change it every time I make it, but this recipe is the gist of it! This time I used Maple Sausage, 3 pieces cooked bacon, & sautéed onions with cheddar, mozzarella & provolone cheeses!

Tips

Chef’s note: You can prepare this the evening before by preparing the dough & meats…put dough in dish, and put in oven for about 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Then you can top with meats, cover & refrigerate. Mix your eggs & spices & milk & put in a separate container & refrigerate. The next morning, take it all out, pour your egg mixture over the stuff already in the dish, top with cheese & bake @ 400 for 30 minutes or until set & browned on top! GREAT for Thanksgiving or Christmas morning breakfast!

Directions

1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Brown turkey sausage in a skillet.
3. Press dough in 11X9 in baking dish, covering the bottom of the dish and a little up the sides, firmly pressing together to seal.
4. Put the dough in the dish into the oven for 5 minutes until browned. Flatten if bubbles arise.
5. Sprinkle chopped sausage & bacon bits over crust. 6. Beat eggbeaters, milk, & spices w/ whisk until well blended. Pour over sausage & bacon, & top w/ cheese.
7. Bake 25 mins or until center is set.
