Ingredients

    1/4 tsp coconut oil
    1 cup steel cup oatmeal
    2 T ground flax seed
    1 cup dried plums, chopped (or fruit of choice)
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp nutmeg
    3.5 cups water
    1 cup 2% milk


Tips

If your crockpot does not have a warm setting, place ingredients in a glass bowl that fits inside crockpot. Carefully add water to about halfway up the bowl. Cook overnight on "low" setting.

You can choose to use any combination of milk/water that totals 4.5 cups.


Directions

Place all ingredients except vanilla in a crockpot that has been coated with coconut oil. Stir. Turn crockpot to "high" for an hour, then change setting to "warm." Leave in crockpot overnight. In the morning, stir in vanilla.
