Introduction

Ingredients

    2 lbs 93% lean ground beef
    1 onion chopped
    1 green pepper chopped
    2 cloves garlic minced
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 can tomato purée large
    1 cup water
    3/4 cup ketchup
    1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
    2 Tablespoons sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp oregano
    1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Tips

This sauce tastes better the next day after flavors mingle.


Directions

Brown ground beef. Add other ingredients and mix well. Simmer for 3 hours. Serve over whole wheat pasta and top with fresh grated Parmesan.
