Ingredients

120g canned chickpeas, drained and dried on kitchen paper
1 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
1.5 tsp chilli powder
Tips
If you don't want them quite as hot, halve the amount of chilli powder.
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Rinse and dry the chickpeas.
Place chickpeas on baking paper on a flat tray and bake for 5 mins to ensure all moisture is gone.
Mix the oil and the chilli powder in a small bowl.
Take the tray out of the oven and tip the chickpeas into the oil and chilli mixture, stirring them around until they are all coated.
Place them back on the parchment paper and spread them out thinly.
Put back in the oven for 15-20 minutes until they are nice and crunchy.
Leave to cool and enjoy. Sprinkle with a little sea salt if you wish before serving.
