3/4 cups Brown Rice, medium grain
    6 cups Water

Tips

This recipe was made in a 2.5 quart capacity Crock-pot, so remember:
-Cooking times may vary dependent on slow cooker model
-The amounts may need to be adjusted if using a different size slow cooker (especially for larger models)

Also:
-A small amount of the brown rice can be substituted out with white sticky rice, to obtain a slightly different consistency
-This recipe was made with an 8:1 water to rice ratio
-Congee can also be made on the stove top, to which there are many other recipes online

Directions

Rinse brown rice well, and let drain. Add rice to slow cooker, and add water. Stir. Set slow cooker to low, and cover. Let cook over night, or for approximately 8 hours.
