Ingredients

    3 pounds of ground beef (93% lean) - my calculation includes a 3.2 package
    2 green bell peppers
    1 medium onion
    3 cloves of garlic
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. thyme
    2 tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    (2) 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes
    (1) 14 oz. can of crushed tomatoes
    1 small can of tomato paste
    1 jar of pasta sauce (only added for extra flavor)
    1 cup grated parmesean cheese
    2 boxes of spaghetti (or any other type of pasta)

Directions

Ground beef, strain & set aside. In the same pan toss in green peppers and onions (saute for a minute and a half), add garlic. Continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, pasta sauce, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, beef and sugar.
Simmer for an hour, add cheese, simmer for another 30 minutes.
Serve over spaghetti!
