    1 lb lean ground beef (93% lean)
    1/2 lb. lean ground turkey
    1/2 lb. lean ground bison
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. pink salt
    1/2 tsp ground pepper
    1 tsp. liquid smoke
    1 1/2 tsp. Grill mates Montreal steak seasoning to taste


IF you want added protein, you can always add an egg. Also, feel free to spice it up your favorite spicy seasonings.


Mix all ingredients in a food processor just until well blended. Be careful not to over mix so it doesn't become too fine. Shape into 10 patties and freeze those you don't want to serve right away.
These can be grilled on the outdoor grill, sauteed in a frying pan or broiled in the oven. Don't overcook, About 8-10 minutes should do it, depending on whether you want them med. rare, medium, or well done. Check occasionally for desired doneness.
