Introduction

Filled with apples! Delicious! Filled with apples! Delicious!

Ingredients

    3 cups white flour
    3 cups whole wheat flour
    3 Cups sugar
    1 T. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 T ground cinnamon
    4 eggs
    1 1/3 C orange juice
    1/2 cup margarine, melted
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    8 C chopped, peeled tart apples

Directions

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon; set aside. Beat eggs; add orange juice, butter, and applesauce. Stir intot he dry ingredients just until moistened (batter will be thick). Fold in apples. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until muffins test done. Yield: about 4 dozen.
