Ingredients

    1.5kg ground beef
    4 eggs
    1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
    1 TBSP paprika
    1 TBSP onion powder**
    2 tsp garlic powder**
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp salt


    ** you can substitute the powders for fresh onion and garlic - in this recipe I find that children prefer the texture of burgers made with the powders rather than chunks of onion.

Tips

store in the freezer in airtight container (or ziplock bags) for up to 4 months.


Directions

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and combine well.

Form into 20 meat balls and set aside.

Preheat a large pan on medium heat. Press meatballs into patties in the pan and fry in batches for 2 mins each side.

Serve with a large salad and dill pickles on the side. Burger sauce can be made by combining mayonnaise, ketchup and finely dill pickles.

Serving Size: makes approx 20 patties
